Does Blue House provide clinical care or get involved with our patients?
No. Blue House never provides or oversees clinical care. Your medical group keeps full control of its patients, clinical protocols and licensure. Blue House runs the physical clinic and its operations, including the space, staff, cleaning and equipment.

What does the Blue House monthly room fee include?
The Blue House monthly fee includes the exam rooms, the build-out, front desk staff, cleaning, general and exam-room supplies, equipment, network, utilities, and property and general liability insurance. Weekend days, physician assistants and extra equipment are available as add-ons, priced separately.

How much does a Blue House medical office cost?
Blue House charges one fixed monthly fee per exam room. The price per room is set by how many rooms you take and your term length (2, 5 or 10 years), and rises 4% a year. The final price depends on the site’s location and room specs, and is set once Blue House and your group choose the site together.

Is the Blue House fee based on a share of our clinical revenue?
No. Blue House charges a fixed fee per room per month. The fee is never a percentage of your group’s clinical revenue or tied to patient volume.

What does a medical group pay upfront to work with Blue House?
There is no build-out capex. Your group pays a prepaid deposit equal to six months of room fees before Blue House signs a lease or starts construction. The deposit is applied to your agreement, so it counts toward your fees.

Can we add more exam rooms after we sign with Blue House?
Yes. Your group can add rooms as they become available, and new rooms join your current term. Rooms can’t be reduced until your term ends.

What happens if we leave a Blue House agreement early?
On a 5 or 10-year term, leaving early carries a fee for the part of the build-out that hasn’t been repaid yet. The 2-year trial is only for a block of rooms. If you leave at the end of year 2, you owe half of the unrepaid build-out, and that fee is waived if you move to a 5 or 10-year term.

Who carries insurance at a Blue House clinic?
Blue House carries property and general liability insurance for the site. Your medical group carries its own malpractice and liability coverage and names Blue House as an additional insured.

How long does it take to open a clinic with Blue House?
Blue House targets 6 to 9 months from signing to opening, compared with the 9 to 15 months it typically takes a group to find, lease and build out its own space in New York.

What is Blue House?
Blue House funds, builds and operates turnkey medical offices in Brooklyn and Manhattan for MSOs and medical groups. Your clinicians bring the care, and Blue House provides the space, staff and day-to-day operations for one fixed monthly fee per room.

Which medical specialties can use a Blue House clinic?
Blue House’s standard exam rooms suit most outpatient specialties, including primary care, sports medicine, PM&R, psychiatry and behavioral health, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, dermatology, women’s health, cardiology, allergy, pulmonology, obesity medicine, pediatrics, podiatry and geriatrics. Higher-spec rooms (imaging, scopes, infusion) are available for anchor and build-to-suit partners.
